We present Christopher Rolf – a member of the Supervisory Board of the “Crane” Foundation
With great joy and pride, we present another member of the Supervisory Board of our foundation – Mr. Christopher Rolfe. His life path is an example of deep respect, devotion and sincere love for Ukraine, which inspires and arouses admiration.
Christopher was born in New Zealand into a family of entrepreneurs, so he was involved in the agricultural sector from an early age. He received an agricultural education at Massey University and completed an international internship in the United States. He worked in agriculture on several continents, including Australia, the United States and Europe.
At the same time, he was engaged in skiing, represented New Zealand at the World Championships and was selected for the Olympic Games in Nagano. After retiring from sports, he worked in the construction industry in the United States for over 15 years. Today, Christopher is an accredited investor specializing in business development.
But despite all the achievements, it was Ukraine that became a special place for Christopher. Even before the full-scale war, he moved here, met his beloved Ukrainian woman, with whom he created a family, and decided to stay forever. Today, he calls Ukraine his home – sincerely, deeply and uncompromisingly.
Mr. Rolfe was not sidelined after February 24, 2022. In the first days of the invasion, he and his wife in their own house in Odesa prepared and delivered food for those who stood up to defend the city and the country. This quiet but powerful support was vital for many.
The Rolf family has been one of the permanent and reliable donor supporters of our foundation for a long time. And Christopher himself is well acquainted with our work, principles and values. That is why his decision to join the Supervisory Board was a special event for us. This is a great honor and no less responsibility.
We are sincerely grateful to Mr. Rolfe for his trust. For his care. For the fact that, despite the citizenship of another country, he was and remains a person who at a critical moment was ready to defend Odesa as his hometown. He repeatedly said: If the enemy had come closer, he would have not hesitated to take up arms to protect what had become his home.
Christopher is a man with a big heart, with a deep understanding of the value of freedom, human dignity and shared responsibility. And it is such people who create the power of our foundation.
